This barn received an
"Adaptive Family Reuse" award. It dates back to the 1880s, and features
hand-hewn, pegged construction. It had been used for several generations by
three owners as a dairy barn with cattle milked downstairs and hay stored on an
upper-floor. When the Andersons acquired the farm in 1999, the barn roof was in
serious condition. Repairs have been undertaken in stages. The barn is no longer
used for cattle but the Andersons plan to use it for lively barn dances. They
