A "Commercial Adaptive Reuse Award" was given
this pegged barn was built in 1869 which once housed a multitude of farm animals
near a stage stop. When its work as a farm barn ended, Barb Schian envisioned a
new life as a marketplace which has grown from a craft shop into a village of
several unique shops, including a deli, a country store, a design center,
boutique, and more. Restoration was done in 1994 with a focus on maintaining the
